NSW Parliament | Wave 5 issues raised by ALP Leader Luke Foley

May 18, 2018 Ciaran 0 Comments

Yesterday in Parliamentary Question time, NSW Opposition Leader Luke Foley questioned Premier Gladys Berejiklian over the ongoing issues facing the 23 Wave 5 sub-contractors who are owed $7.5million.

The Premier and her Government avoided any offer of compensating these people, and instead insisted on repeating lies about the state of the issue.

It is known that the Minister for Roads, Freight and Maritime Melinda Pavey, as well as the Small Business Commissioner Robyn Hobbs had been in contact with these families. However, there is no action or activity on behalf of these people, and the Government is doing nothing.

We are pleased to see that Luke and the Labor party have taken us up on our offer of information and collaboration, and will continue to fight for these subcontractors!

You can read the Hansard of the three questions raised here, here, and here.
