Out of School Hours Care costs families on average between $150 and $200 per week, money they spend so that they can stay at work longer just to meet their rising costs of living.
Managing a family is difficult and we know that it’s only getting tougher for families across NSW.
Costs of living are increasing with skyrocketing energy prices, expensive groceries, rising rents, and large mortgages all force parents back to work sooner than ever before.
With OOSH waiting lists getting longer and costs rising, we need to provide parents with the support they need to stay ahead.
Data shows that parents are struggling to juggle working hours, are cutting working hours, and are using higher levels of sick leave just to manage the needs of their children.
If elected at the 2019 NSW March election, we pledge Free Out of School Hours Care for ALL working parents across NSW.
